About Us
Classical Guitar Academy was founded by professional guitarist Ed Peczek, whose dedication to the instrument led to the creation of a studio built around a simple idea: that high-level, conservatoire-quality tuition should be accessible to any committed guitarist—without the traditional barriers of formal higher education.
Originally established as a teaching studio, Classical Guitar Academy has grown into a trusted destination where tuition and retail exist side by side—each informing the other, and both centred around the long-term development of the player.
“The aim is to give every guitarist—regardless of level—access to the kind of insight, support, and instruments that genuinely help them to develop as a guitarist”

Guided by this philosophy, Classical Guitar Academy offers a space where players can:
Access expert, tailored tuition by a Conservatory trained tutor with over 20 years teaching experience
Explore a carefully curated selection of classical guitars suited to every stage of development—from first serious instrument to professional grade concert guitars
Receive clear, honest guidance from a single, knowledgeable point of contact who has personally played and evaluated every instrument in the studio
While many players first discover us online, the CGA experience is rooted in a private, appointment-led studio—designed to give each guitarist the time space and guidance to make confident, informed decisions.
Today, Classical Guitar Academy supports a broad and growing community of players, from dedicated beginners through to advanced musicians, offering both exceptional instruments and insightful guidance to realise their full potential.
“Ed is a young man of real integrity who will offer unbiased advice on purchasing a quality instrument. Similarly, he has a natural empathy, and a keen musical insight which are the hallmarks of high quality teaching. I can think of no one better equipped to direct such a centre.”
